Meet Hobbs! 

Hobbs is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog searching for an experienced and dedicated forever home. Found roaming the streets of Hobbs, New Mexico, this remarkable dog embodies a perfect balance of work ethic and playfulness, with a strong drive that makes him ideal for a ranch or farm environment.  

Hobbs thrives in settings where he can channel his energy and intelligence into meaningful tasks. He has proven his compatibility with livestock, having been around chickens, goats, horses and cows. While he gets along well with other dogs, Hobbs prefers the company of people-particularly men- and forms strong bonds with those who engage in his working spirit. 

Fully kennel and leash trained, Hobbs also boasts reliable recall and basic obedience skills, making him a responsive and capable partner. However, his high drive and desire to work mean he is not suited for a typical family pet role. Hobbs requires an advanced home with owners who are experienced in handling working breeds, ready to provide him with a lifestyle centered on purpose and activity.
